Kate ArnoldKate Arnold is an Artist living in Winchester, the historic former capital city of England.

She studied her foundation course at Winchester School of Art and continued on to Wimbledon School of Art, where she attained her BA in Fine Art Sculpture in 1991.

Having qualified, she then went on to work for many different designers, gaining work experience in set design, fashion design, interior design and prop building.

After leaving London, Kate travelled across Africa and Europe working for several companies, including Warner Brothers in Germany. She gathered experience in large scale & plastic and polystyrene art, which led onto corporate scenery build, aquatic landscapes and museum installations.

With the extensive experience she had abroad, Kate returned to London to specialise in interior design, decorative arts, trompe l'oeil and murals. She has works in many stately homes, manor houses and large corporations.

Settling down in Winchester to raise a child, Kate was able to utilise her skills in her primary passion of wood carving and has several large scale public works in and around Hampshire.  Her most recent installations include three large totems in Boscombe Chine Gardens, one totem in Naomi House Children's Hospice and an eight meter relief carved sign-way in Moors Valley Country Park.
